  • The extension icon will appear in your Google Chrome™ toolbar immediately after installation

STEP 2: PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS

2. FIRST-TIME LOGIN

STEP 1: ACCESS THE LOGIN SCREEN

Click the Zil Money extension icon in your Google Chrome™ toolbar to open the login screen.

  • The default company will be highlighted

3. UNDERSTANDING THE INTERFACE

The Zil Money extension features a clean, intuitive interface with two main tabs:

4. MANAGING VIRTUAL CARDS

CREATING A NEW VIRTUAL CARD

STEP 1: CLICK "ADD +" BUTTON Located in the top right of the Virtual Cards tab, click the blue "Add +" button.


STEP 2: SELECT FUNDING SOURCE Choose which wallet will fund this virtual card:
  • Click the Wallet dropdown
  • View available balances for each wallet
  • Select your preferred wallet


STEP 3: ENTER CARD DETAILS Fill in the required information:


  • Cardholder Name: Name to appear on the card (e.g., "Salam V3")
  • Card Label/Nickname: Descriptive name for easy identification (e.g., "V3 Salam", "Netflix Subscription")
  • Spending Limit: Maximum amount the card can spend
  • Limit Interval: How often the limit resets:
    • One Time: Single use, then card expires
    • Daily: Limit resets every day
    • Weekly: Limit resets every week
    • Monthly: Limit resets every month
    • Yearly: Limit resets annually
    • All Time: Total lifetime limit
    • Per Transaction: Limit applies to each transaction

⚠ IMPORTANT: Make sure your selected wallet has sufficient balance to cover the spending limit you set.

STEP 4: CREATE THE CARD Once all fields are filled correctly, click the "Create Card" button at the bottom.

VIEWING CARD DETAILS

STEP 1: CLICK ON ANY CARD From your cards list, click on any card to open its detailed view.


STEP 2: VIEW SENSITIVE INFORMATION The card details modal displays:
  • Card Label: Your custom nickname
  • Name on Card: Cardholder name
  • Card Number: Last 4 digits visible for security
  • Expiry Date: When the card expires
  • Status: Active, Inactive, or Expired
  • Limit Amount: Current spending limit
  • Limit Interval: How often it resets

🔒 SECURITY FEATURE: For your protection, only the last 4 digits of your card number are visible in the extension. To view complete card details including the full card number and CVV, click the "View More" button which will securely redirect you to the Zil Money™ web application.

VIEWING TRANSACTIONS

Scroll down in the card details modal to see Recent Transactions:


  • Date: When the transaction occurred
  • Merchant: Where the card was used
  • Status: Pending, Approved, or Declined
  • Amount: Transaction value

NOTE: New cards will show "No transactions yet" until they're used.

SEARCHING AND FILTERING CARDS

USING THE SEARCH BOX

  • Type in the search box at the top
  • Search by card label, cardholder name, or last 4 digits
  • Results update automatically as you type

USING WALLET FILTER

  • Click the wallet dropdown above the card list
  • Select a specific wallet to see only those cards
  • Choose "All Wallets" to view everything
  • The extension remembers your selection

5. CREATING GIFT CARDS

Gift cards are virtual Visa cards you send to other people. They're perfect for payments, gifts, or reimbursements.

CREATING A NEW GIFT CARD

STEP 1: SWITCH TO GIFT CARDS TAB Click the "Visa Gift Card" tab at the top of the extension.


STEP 2: CLICK "ADD +" BUTTON Click the blue "Add +" button to open the gift card creation form.

STEP 3: SELECT FUNDING SOURCE Choose which wallet will fund the gift card from the dropdown menu.

STEP 4: SELECT OR ADD PAYEE Choose the recipient:

  • Existing Payee: Click the "Select Payee" dropdown and choose from your saved contacts
  • New Payee: Click "+ Add New Payee" button

ADDING A NEW PAYEE Fill in the payee information:
  • Full Name: Required (e.g., "John Doe")
  • Email Address: Required (e.g., "john@example.com")
  • Phone Number: Optional (select country code + number)
  • Company Name: Optional

Click "Add Payee" to save. The new payee will be automatically selected for your gift card.

STEP 5: ENTER GIFT CARD DETAILS

  • Payee Email: Auto-filled from selected payee
