🚀 Installation

  1. 1 Visit the Chrome Web Store
  2. 2 Click "Add to Chrome"

First-Time Setup

  1. 1 Click the extension icon in your Google Chrome™ toolbar
  2. 2 Sign in with your OnlineCheckWriter.com credentials

Select your company from the list
  1. 4 You'll be taken to the main interface

⚠️ Requirements

  • An active OnlineCheckWriter.com account (Sign Up Here)
  • At least one bank account configured
  • Credits for mailing services (if using physical mail option)

💳 Creating and Sending Checks


The Send Check interface where you'll create your check

Step 1: Select Bank Account

  1. Click on the "Select Bank Account" field
  2. Type to search through your bank accounts
  3. Select the desired account from the dropdown

Step 2: Enter Check Details

  • Amount: Enter the check amount (e.g., 100.00)
  • Check Number: Enter manually or click "Auto" button to auto-generate
  • Date: Select the check date using the date picker
  • Memo (Optional): Add any memo or reference information

Step 3: Select Delivery Method

Choose one of three delivery options:


Three delivery methods available: Physical Mail, Print at Home, and eCheck

Step 4: Configure Delivery Options

Select your preferred shipping method:


Choose from multiple shipping options for physical mail delivery

🖨️ For Print at Home:

Select your paper type:


Choose between Check Paper or Plain White Paper for printing

📧 For eCheck:

Enter the recipient's email address:


Enter the payee's email address for eCheck delivery

Step 5: Select Payee

  1. Click on "Select Payee" field
  2. Start typing to search existing payees
  3. Select from the dropdown, or click "+ Add new payee"

Review all check details in the preview section before sending:

  2. Review your credit balance (for mail checks)
  3. Click "Send Check" button
  4. Wait for confirmation message

👥 Managing Payees

Adding a New Payee

  1. 1 In the payee search dropdown, click "+ Add new payee"
  2. 2 Fill in the required information

  2. Scroll to the "Payees" section
  3. View all saved payees with their details

Bank Account Information

Each bank account displays:

  • Account nickname
  • Bank name
  • Last 4 digits of account number (masked for security)

Adding Bank Accounts

  1. Click "Add Bank Account on Website"
  2. You'll be redirected to OnlineCheckWriter.com
  3. Complete the bank account setup on the website
  4. Return to the extension to use the new account

🔧 Troubleshooting

Bank accounts not showing Wait a moment after login, or refresh by switching tabs
